In IIT JEE Main 2022, 10,26,799 candidates appeared, where only a total of 16,598 seats were available at 23 IITs. For IIT JEE preparation, two factors are very crucial; how early you are starting your preparation and how many hours a day you study.
If you are in Class 11, that means you will have sufficient time to prepare for the IIT JEE, because as per the eligibility criteria, you must complete your Class 12th to appear for the exam.
